Sir Thomas Malory (1405-1471)

Things to know:
  • Wrote Le Morte D'Arthur in Late Middle English.
  • Obtained material from French sources
  • Essentially a bunch of stories about King Arthur's court
Distinguishable from Sir Gawain and the Green Knight because it is in prose form (Sir Gawain is in verse).
